A GoAir flight has been forced to make an emergency landing in New Delhi airport on Wednesday due to technical issues.
Flight G8557 was en-route to Bengaluru to Delhi with a total of 184 passengers and three infants aboard, when the emergency was declared shortly after take-off.
The flight was belived to be operated by an Airbus A320.
“G8557 Delhi-Bengaluru flight had an emergency landing at Delhi airport at 1953 hours (7:53pm) due to technical reasons,” the airline said in a statement.
According to Delhi Airport, the flight landed safely on Runway 28 after the Air Traffic Control announced full emergency protocol.
