A flight to JFK turned around before crossing Atlantic returned to Heathrow Airport.
American Airlines flight AA107 departed almost 2 hours late Wednesday, July 30 2025 from London Heathrow today to New York JFK.
The Boeing 777-300ER (registration N722AN) to 31,000 feet from runway 27R but turned around less than one hour into the flight while flying over Southern Ireland.
It landed back on runway 27R one hour and 57 minutes after departure due to a technical issue.
The airline is now scheduling a new departure at 10:30 PM from London Heathrow with an arrival tomorrow at 1:53 AM.
