Jet2 flight #LS155 to Tenerife had their flight cut short because there was no water for teas or coffees on board.
The flight, which took off from Glasgow, Scotland, at 8.55am, was bound for the Canary Island when it was forced to divert to Manchester less than an hour from take off.
The #LS155 flight was flying over Cork in the Republic of Ireland when it was redirected, the Daily Record reports.
A spokeswoman for Jet2 confirmed: “There was a technical issue with water on board. There wasn’t water for teas and coffees.
She added that passengers had been transferred onto another flight to Tenerife and were being “well looked after”.
Many passengers took to social media to blast the airline for the disruption.
