A flight from Austin to Chicago ended abruptly Tuesday and returned to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport after two people reportedly got into a fight in mid-air.
Southwest Airlines turned the flight around and landed safely at ABIA shortly before 5 p.m.
Passenger Lisa Berkman, aboard Southwest Flight #WN3590, said the pilot told them one passenger reached over his seat and punched someone else.
No one was seriously injured, but once the flight landed, police came on the plane and escorted the two people off.
