VLM Airlines has announced on June 22nd 2016 that they will be filing for bankruptcy after what has seemed to have been a promising start to the airline’s relaunch. They posted on Twitter that all flights have been cancelled and that operations have been permanently suspended.
The airline currently operated with Fokker F50 aircraft and were due to receive Sukhoi Superjet Aircraft to relaunch their brand and expand their European operations. This was not the start of such negative beginnings for the airline as they pulled out of Waterford not too long ago either.
