Qantas flight QF61 was on a routine flight from Brisbane, Australia to Tokyo when it forced to return to Brisbane after reports of engine vibrations.
The Airbus A330 was about 30 minutes into it’s 9 hour journey, when the captain decided to return to Brisbane as a saftey precaution.
This incident is the second of it’s kind in 5 days after QF9 bound for Dubai was forced to divert to Sydney for the same reason.
Qantas spokesperson said that a technical problem was to blame for the Airbus A330’s return to Brisbane Airport.
The flight landed safely at 11:41am without incident.
Passengers have been provided with overnight accommodation and moved to a new flight that will depart on Sunday at 9am.
