A TUI Boeing 787 Dreamliner bound for Montego Bay was forced to return to Manchester Airport following a technical issue.
The flight BY138 departed at 9:56 AM UK time and, entered a hold for about one hour at 26,000ft before returning to Manchester Airport.
As is standard, air traffic control gave priority to the emergency arrival, holding all other traffic as the aircraft touched down.

Reportedly, the aircraft experienced low pressure in one of its tyres, prompting a cautious landing with fire crews on standby to monitor the situation.
The issue was most likely detected by the on-board sensors, which would have been flagged as an issue for the pilots to take the necessary steps to deal with the situation as quick and as safe as possible.
While it wasn’t clear from the footage which tyre was affected, plane spotters were treated to a rare landing on Runway 23L, typically used for departures and seldom for arrivals.
This was recorded on Airliners Live “Midweek Madness” live stream, aptured by Mr Matt “Cam” Smith.
