Saudia Airlines flight from Islamabad to Jeddah made an emergency landing in Muscat.
Today Thursday, June 6 2024, the flight #SV3723 departed Islamabad, Pakistan at 5h40 UTC for a 5-hour flight to Jeddah.
While cruising at 38,000 ft and entering Oman’s airspace, the Boeing 777-300ER (registration HZ-AK23) started a very rapid descent due to an emergency.
Only 17 minutes later, the aircraft landed on runway 08R at Muscat causing ear pain for the passengers according to PAX on aboard.

The aircraft was welcomed by fire trucks due to a technical issue.
