On Thursday, two JetBlue planes crashed into one another on the tarmac at Boston Logan International Airport.
The incident occurred around 6:40 am local time. Las Vegas-bound Flight 777’s left winglet struck the right horizontal stabilizer of Flight 551, which was en route to Orlando.
One aircraft was entering the de-icing pad when it came into contact with the tail of another, the airline said in a statement. The collision caused damage to one of the winglets and the other’s tail section.
