The nose gear of a Ryanair Boeing 737-800 was damaged after landing at Dublin Airport, Ireland.
The flight #FR5542 from Liverpool suffered a major nosegear damage when the Ryanair Boeing 737-800 (reg. EI-DHH) suffered a landing mishap on runway 28.
The runway 10/28 remained closed for hours.
Immediately after touchdown on runway 28, #Ryanair flight #FR5542 veered to the left and ran alongside the runway edge before steering back onto the centreline.
Air traffic into the airport was temporarily suspended while the emergency services dealt with the incident. It is understood there was debris from the incident left on the runway.
A Dublin Airport Authority spokesman said: “A Full Emergency was declared at Dublin Airport this afternoon update following the arrival of Ryanair flight FR5542 from Liverpool. The Dublin Airport Fire Service responded, and the passengers disembarked the aircraft normally once the all clear was given by the Airport Fire Officer.
