Unauthorized pro-Kurdish protest escalates at Düsseldorf Airport.
Pro Kurdish protesters started an unannounced demonstration against the Turkish government at Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) on Sunday noon.
The demonstration was against Turkey’s military offensive in northern Syria. Violence broke out when Turkish counter-protesters joined.

Germany’s police forces used pepper spray against some of the approximately 200 protesters.
“A number of people suffered injuries“, federal police said.
There have been several violent Kurdish protests across Germany over the weekend.
