Two RAF Typhoons from Coningsby have escorted a Ryanair passenger jet into Stansted airport as Quick Reaction Alert.
The aircraft was a Ryanair Boeing 737-800 (reg. EI-FZH) flight #FR2145 from Kaunas to London Luton.

A sonic boom was heard over Suffolk, resulting in many people calling emergency services to report an explosion.
