At 10:19 on the 2nd October 2016 Jet2 flight LS891 departed Manchester’s runway 05L bound for Lanzarote. Seconds after departure, the 757 registered G-LSAG realized they had a problem and entered a hold over Wigan at 8,000ft where it circled for a further 40 minutes.
It’s the third time in a month this Boeing 757 has technical issue. In September, this aircraft returned two times to Manchester after landing gear failed to retract.
