The nose gear of a Singapore Airlines (SIA) plane collapsed on Sunday morning (Oct 11) at Changi Airport (an Airbus A330-300 registration 9V-STG).
The aircraft was next due to have operated flight #SQ890 to Hong Kong on Sunday morning. The last flight was from Shanghai to Singapore on 10th Oct 2015.
There were no passengers or crew on board at the time, said SIA. At the time of the collapse, which happened around 8am, one engineer was on the aircraft but was not hurt, added the airline.
