This tribute was drawn yesterday in the sky over Nova Scotia, Canada.
A Canadian Cirrus SR22 drew a flight-path silhouette of a soldier at a grave over Nova Scotia on 7 November 2025, in what appears to be an airborne tribute ahead of Remembrance Day.
The aircraft, registered C-GZPT, completed the symbolic pattern in less than two hours. The full track is visible on flight-tracking site Flightradar24, where users quickly noticed the unmistakable outline.
The imagery strongly evokes First World War remembrance themes, and the timing suggests a gesture tied to the 11 November 1918 Armistice commemoration.
The SR22, a single-engine four-seat touring aircraft, took off from Halifax and flew entirely within Canadian airspace over Nova Scotia.
Unusual commemorative sky-drawings are occasionally seen around major anniversaries, but this level of symbolic precision is rare. The stylised soldier-and-headstone figure appeared complete and recognizable from the zoomed-out track view.
Canada will mark Remembrance Day nationwide on 11 November.
