KLM flight KL895 departed Amsterdam Schiphol Airport at 16:00 CEST yesterday Friday, October 24 2025 for a 11-hour flight to Shanghai, China.

The Boeing 787-9 (registration PH-BHP) was cruising at 36,000 feet over the Black Sea when the crew noticed a technical issue forcing the decision to return to AMS Airport.

After more than 6 hours in the sky, the Dreamliner safely landed on runway 18R and the airline was forced to cancel the flight.
