A Boeing 737 flying from Lanzarote Island to Newcastle diverted to Dublin during the night.
The Jet2 flight LS546 departed Lanzarote at 21:00 WEST on Thursday, October 2 2025 for a 4-hour flight to North of UK.
While still flying over Atlantic, cruising at 35,000 feet, the crew declared an emergency (squawk 7700) due to a medical situation.
The Boeing 737-800 (registration G-JZHT) was vectored to Dublin Airport where it landed on runway 28L at 00:40 AM on Friday.
About one hour and 30 minutes later, the flight resumed to Newcastle where it landed 50 minutes later at 3:15 AM then taxied to a remote stand.
