The Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers will make NFL history as the first regular-season game ever played in Ireland.
This isn’t just another NFL game being played overseas. The matchup between the Vikings and Steelers at Croke Park represents something much more meaningful, not only for Irish NFL fans but for two franchises with deep historical connections to the Emerald Isle.

A Cathedral of Sport
Croke Park – known as Ireland’s “Cathedral of Sport” – is not just any venue. With a capacity of 82,300 (Sunday’s attendance is expected around 76,000), it’s the largest stadium in Ireland and one of the five biggest in Europe. The home of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1891, Croke Park annually hosts the All-Ireland finals in Gaelic football and hurling.
