A flight from Vienna to Palma De Mallorca was forced to divert to France following a medical situation on board.
The Ryanair flight FR1938 departed Vienna at 19:40 CEST Saturday, July 12 2025 for a 2-hour flight to Palma De Mallorca.
The Airbus A320 (registration 9H-LMG) was cruising at 37,000 feet over Italy when the crew contacted ATC about a medical emergency.
As a passenger was suffering seizures, the flight changed its course and turned right towards France.
The aircraft landed only 30 minutes later in Marseille on runway 13L then taxied to a remote area of the airport.
A bit more than one hour later, the flight was able to resume the flight to to Palma De Mallorca with a flight duration of 52 minutes.
