A Condor flight from Palma de Mallorca to Munich was denied landing because it missed airport’s curfew by a few seconds.
Departure of Condor flight DE1513 from Palma de Mallorca to Munich was delayed by two hours, taking off at 10:52 p.m. instead of 8:35 p.m on June 2, 2025.
The Airbus A321 was only 600 meters from runway 08R threshold when the clock passed the 12:30 a.m., so air traffic control immediately denied landing permission.
The flight was forced to divert to Hahn Airport, about 375 km away, landing at 1:13 a.m. Passengers were then bused to Frankfurt Airport, arriving around 4:30 a.m., and finally arrived in Munich just before 8:00 a.m.—over nine hours late.

The original aircraft (registration D-ATCA) returned to Munich ahead of the passengers.
Munich Airport enforces a strict curfew: no scheduled arrivals after 12:00 a.m., with a possible extension to 12:30 a.m. if requested in advance according to FlightMode.
