An Aer Lingus aircraft just returned to Dublin Airport following engine issue.
The flight EI121 departed Dublin today Tuesday, February 11 2025 at 13:30 GMT to Orlando but immediately stopped the climb at 3,800 ft.
The Airbus A330-300 with EI-FNH suffered land hand engine compressor stall.
The crew decided to return to Dublin Airport where it landed only 34 minutes after takeoff.
A load bang was heard and flames out of the left engine were seen by residents.
The aircraft landed safely and met by Dublin Airport’s Fire and Rescue Service and Airport Police and was escorted to a stand at the terminal.
Passengers will shortly be transferred to a standby aircraft.
