The deep-sea hunt for MH370 is scheduled to restart later this month with marine robotics firm Ocean Infinity.
Malaysia’s government announced that the search for the missing Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777-200ER (registration 9M-MRO), which operated Flight MH370, will resume this month—more than 11 years after the aircraft disappeared.
According to the official media release, the deep-sea search will restart on December 30, 2025, led by marine robotics company Ocean Infinity, which will conduct a 55-day seabed survey in a newly designated 15,000 km² search zone.

This renewed mission follows last year’s agreement under a “no-find, no-fee” arrangement, reaffirming Malaysia’s commitment to uncovering what happened to MH370 and offering long-awaited answers to the families of the 239 people who were on board.
