The biggest London Airport is about to resume flights prioritising repatriation and relocation of aircraft.

The airport resumed airport operations from 16:31 on a limited basis for T3 and T5 only.
Full operation will only resume tomorrow but British Airways has been given clearance for eight long-haul flights to depart Heathrow Airport today from 19:00:

- BA57 to Johannesburg
- BA11 to Singapore
- BA259 to Riyadh
- BA45 to Cape Town
- BA59 to Cape Town
- BA15 to Sydney via Singapore
- BA249 to Buenos Aires via Rio de Janeiro

Seven flights from Asia and Australia are already heading for Heathrow Airport, all scheduled to arrive after 5am tomorrow morning.
Easterly operations active at Heathrow, landing on the northern runway 09L and taking off from the southern runway 09R.
