An Air India Boeing 777 from Chicago turned around and landed 10 hours later because 11 out of 12 toilets became blocked.
The Air India flight AI126 to Delhi had to return to Chicago O’Hare International Airport after 10 hours in the air after11 out of 12 toilets became blocked.

The Boeing 777-300ER (registration VT-ALQ) took off form Chicago O’Hare International Airport Wednesday, March 5 2025. It was cruising at FL330 when the crew decided to turn around.
The only functioning toilet out of 12 on board was in business class, leaving hundreds of economy passengers stranded without access to a restroom for hours
Footage from on board the aircraft shows chaos erupting as dozens of passengers stand to listen to a flight attendant explain the dire situation.

The cause of the 10-hour plumbing fiasco appears to be cloth and plastic being stuffed down the toilets blocking the waste pipe.
