Jet2 has begun retiring its Boeing 757 fleet.

The airline has begun retiring its Boeing 757-200 fleet. Jet2 had 8 Boeing 757s in active operations in the past.

In 2020, G-LSAD left the fleet. In 2024, G-LSAB also left flight operations.

Yesterday, the 32-year-old Boeing 757 G-LSAC departed Manchester Airport for storage at St Athan.

The aircraft made its last commercial flight the past day (3 November 2024) from Fuerteventura Airport to Manchester.

The airline plans to phase out all its Boeing 757-200s by January 2025.

But the oldest aircraft of the fleet (37 years old) is still active. G-LSAI is also based in Manchester.
