Delta flight #DL100 to Geneva departed New York JFK Monday, August 5 2024 on runway 04R for a 7-hour flight to Switzerland.
The Boeing 767-400ER (registration N845MH) departed at 21:35 EDT and climbed to 11,000 ft when the crew noticed a mechanical problem.
As the landing gear would not retract, the aircraft entered a holding pattern. the pilots requested an immediate return to JFK.

The 22-year old Boeing 767 landed on runway 13L one hour after departure. The flight was canceled and the plane is now under maintenance.
