KLM flight #KL1141 departed Amsterdam at 16:00 CEST for a one hour flight to Dublin.
After a landing attempt on the Northern runway the Embraer 195 (registration PH-NXK) is heading to Shannon.
Cumulonimbus clouds are reported above Dublin developing lighting strikes and disturbing the flight operations. The ceiling is reported as low as 4,000 ft.
According to Shauns Aviation, KLM flight KL1141went around and diverted due to “due to Thunder/Lightning activity”.
