Four flight attendants were injured during severe turbulence on flight to Tokyo Narita.
The incident occurred on flight #JL774 from Melbourne to Tokyo Narita on Monday, April 1 2024.
The flight was operated by a Boeing 787-8 (registration JA843J) for a 9 hours and 30 minutes flight.
The aircraft was cruising at 40,000 ft then descended into Narita by 15:40 JST when it encountered severe turbulence by 15,000 ft.
One flight attendant was severely injured at the leg (fracture of the right thigh) while 3 others received sprains.
The Boeing Dreamliner continued to runway 16L where it landed safely. It taxied to the stand where medical crew took care of the injured stewardess.
