KLM Boeing 787 grounded in Buenos Aires following flight #KL702 incident

On July 21st, 2024, a KLM Boeing 787 Dreamliner was involved in an incident while landing on runway 11 at Buenos Aires/Ezeiza-Ministro Pistarini Airport (EZE) in Argentina.

The Boeing 787-9 with registration PH-BHA was operating flight KL702 from Santiago de Chile to the Argentine capital.

The details surrounding the incident remain not clear at this time, but an inspection revealed the aircraft has been damaged. However, no injuries were reported among the passengers and crew on board.

The Argentine Joint Accident Investigation Board (JST) is investigating the Boeing 878-9 (registration PH-BHA).

Due to the incident, the return flight from Buenos Aires to Amsterdam (AMS) has been canceled.

After a normal landing procedure on 21 July, it was determined that the aircraft operating flight KL702 from Santiago de Chile to Buenos Aires was damaged.”
