England team’s plane takes wrong turn & gets towed upon arrival in Malta.
In what has been a rocky start to the England’s arrival in Malta, new footage shows the national team’s plane take a wrong turn upon its arrival on the island.
The Air Horizont Boeing 737-400 (reg. 9H-ZAZ) erroneously turned left after landing runway 31 ending up on taxiway “G” where it blocked the main runway for about 30min.
On board flight #HAT1460 from Birmingham was the English National Football team.

Upon landing, technical assistance was required for the plane to get towed after it took a wrong turn on the airport’s runway, causing quite a stir on social media.
