UPDATE 21:10 UTC System is recovering, traffic resuming. Ryanair #FR3326 will be the first plane to land in Shannon.
Dublin is the only airport in Ireland that don’t use Shannon ATC centre.
Shannon Airport said on Twitter: “Attention Passengers. Air Traffic Control at Ballcasey, Shannon are experiencing issues with their flight radar. Work underway to rectify the situation. Arrivals and Departures at SNN have been suspended until the radar is fully operational.”
