Ukraine on Wednesday received the first Patriots, which are seen as one of the most advanced US air defence systems, Kyiv’s defence minister said.
“Today, our beautiful Ukrainian sky becomes more secure because Patriot air defence systems have arrived in Ukraine,” Oleksiy Reznikov said on Twitter.

The delivery comes as Russia launched an overnight drone attack on the southern port city of Odesa.
