Saturday, August 16 2025, Condor flight DE3665, from Corfu to Düsseldorf, suffered engine surges shortly after takeoff with flames and loud bangs reported from the right engine.
The crew shut down the right engine, declared an emergency (squawk 7700) only few minutes after takeoff from runway 34.

The a Boeing 757-300 (D-ABOK) safely diverted to Brindisi, Italy, where the aircraft landed about 40 minutes later.
