A LATAM Dreamliner returned to Los Angeles with RAT deployed following electrical problems.
A LATAM Boeing 787-8, operating flight LA603 from Los Angeles to Santiago, Chile, was forced to return to LAX shortly after departure due to a technical issue.
The aircraft (registration CC-BBI) departed from runway 25R then air traffic control cleared the crew to climb to FL230.

Shortly after, the pilots replied, “We have Romeo Alpha Tango allotted,” indicating that the RAT had deployed according to The Aviation Herald.
Following the Ram Air Turbine deployment (typically used as an emergency power source when main systems fail), the crew requested to return to Los Angeles.
After conducting a fuel dump the Dreamliner landed on runway 25L, one hour and 27 minutes after departure, then taxied to the gate without assistance.
