TUI Flight BY601 was cancelled after a Dreamliner slid from the taxiway at Melbourne-Orlando International Airport.
A TUI Airways Boeing 787 veered off the taxiway after exiting the runway 9R at Melbourne-Orlando International Airport, becoming stuck off the paved surface.
TUI Flight 601 was preparing for departure to Birmingham, England, on Friday when the crew aborted takeoff due to a mechanical issue according to according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The Boeing 787-9 (registration G-TUIN) arrived from Birmingham, UK on 18 April 2025. Shortly after, the aircraft’s right main landing gear went into the grass from taxiway C.
Melbourne Mayor stated that around 350 passengers were transported by bus from the plane to the terminal and later accommodated in nearby hotels.
