A British Airways flight was stuck on runway at London Heathrow forcing the airport to take action.
This morning of Thursday, May 1 2025, an incident occurred at London Heathrow when British Airways flight BA901 landed on runway 09L.
The flight from Frankfurt arrived at London Heathrow Airport at 07:29 BST. The Airbus A320, with registration G-EUYB, safely landed but was stuck on the runway due to a mechanical issue.
While the aircraft moved to the taxiway at A9W intersection, the airport moved flight operations to runway 09R.
The A320 landed with gear doors still down, triggering response from emergency vehicles of Heathrow Airport to check the plane.
After a short while, the airport resumed landings on the Northern runway
