A Frontier Airlines flight from Orlando made a hard landing at San Juan, damaging the aircraft.
A Frontier Airlines Airbus A321neo, registration N607FR performing flight F93506 from Orlando touched down hard on San Juan’s runway 10 Wednesday Apr 16, 2025.
The airport subsequently closed both runways and informed arriving flights there was debris on the runways following a hard landing.

The flight F93506 went around and circled for 27 minutes before attempting a new landing 2 hours and 24 minutes after departure on runway 08.
According to The Aviation Herald, the left hand engine emitted a continuous streak of flames for several seconds during climb out.
The FAA reported the aircraft struck the runway hard damaging the landing gear at San Juan, Puerto Rico.
