Flight AF191 from Bengaluru to Paris is declaring an emergency and diverting.
Air France flight AF191 departed Bengaluru at 11:22 PM according to Flightradar24, from Terminal 2 for a flight to Paris CDG.
The Boeing 777-200ER aircraft climbed to cruise altitude of 34,000 feet but about 4 hours after departure, the crew declared an emergency (squawk 7700) and descended to FL210 over Turkmenistan.
The airline didn’t confirm any issue but the flight was delayed, estimated to land at 04:20 on Tuesday morning in Paris while the scheduled departure time is 02:00.
Source is reporting an engine failure. The aircraft is 26 years old, registered F-GSPI.
