A flight from Copenhagen to Manchester was forced to divert to Newcastle due to a medical situation on board.
The easyJet flight U22238 departed Copenhagen, Denmark Monday, October 27 2025 at 22:13 CET (scheduled for 21:45) to Manchester, UK.
The Airbus A320 aircraft (registration G-EZPB) was cruising at 38,000 feet over the North Sea when the crew declared an emergency (squawk 7700) de to a passenger welfare issue.
The aircraft landed at 22:52 GMT on runway 25 then taxied to the gare where paramedics took over the situation.
The flight resumed one hour later for 26 minutes and landed in Manchester at 00:28 GMT on Tuesday.
