An Air France flight to Yaoundé, in Africa declared an emergency still over France due to a technical issue.
Air France flight AF954 departed Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport a bit late at 17:22 CEST today to Yaoundé in Cameroon.
The Boeing 777-200ER (registration F-GSPJ) was at cruising altitude of 29,000 feet when the crew declared an emergency and started to descent near Bordeaux on first intention.
The flight turned around and circled for a while at 27,000 feet before heading back to Paris CDG Airport. Pilots notice an issue after 30 minutes into the flight.
The Boeing plane landed back in Paris almost 2 hours after takeoff due to a technical issue confirmed Air France to AIRLIVE.
Passengers will be booked to a new flight AF954 leaving tomorrow at 12:30 local time.
