A Royal Jordanian and TUI Airways flights declared an emergency after circling near Manchester.
The Royal Jordanian flight RJ115 from Amman to Manchester declared an emergency due to low fuel. Pilots of the Airbus A320 (registration JY-RAJ) squawked 7700 to request a priority landing following delayed arrivals.
The aircraft landed at MAN airport at 14:27 BST according to tracking website.
Few minutes later, TUI Airways flight BY2421 declared an emergency for the same reason after circling during 15 minutes East of Manchester.
The Boeing 737-800 (registration G-TAWO) was vectored to Newcastle and landed 4 hours after takeoff from Thessaloniki.
