An Airbus A321 from Sofia to to Frankfurt is declaring an emergency shortly after takeoff.

Lufthansa flight LH1425 departed Sofia, Bulgaria today at 12:57 EEST for a flight to Frankfurt, Germany.

After reaching the cruising altitude of 32,000 feet over Romania, pilots of the Airbus A321, with registration D-AIRA, declared an emergency (squawk 7700).

The flight is diverting to Belgrad.
