Pilots of a Boeing 737-800 to Nashville have declared an emergency after departure from Los Angeles.
American Airlines flight AA1292 stopped the climb at 16,000 feet after departure from Los Angles LAX runway 25R.
The Boeing 737-800 (registration N950AN) started circling due to possible flap issues (would not retract).
The pilots declared an emergency (squawk 7700) and contacted ATC to require a priority landing back in Los Angeles.
