The British Airways flight departed BA599 Venice, Italy this morning at 09:06 CEST for a flight to London Heathrow, UK.
While cruising at 36,000 feet over France, the Airbus A320 (registration G-EUUK) changed its path and flew towards Paris.
The crew declared an emergency (squawk 7700) and started descent to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport due to a medical emergency.
The flight departed Paris shortly after and is expected to land at 11:56 AM in London, only 46 minutes late.
