Air France flight AF417 returned to Mauritius for an emergency landing.
Air France flight AF417 from Port Louis to Paris CDG was forced to return.
The Boeing 777-300ER departed Port Louis at 21:15 MUT for a 12-hour flight to Paris.
It climbed to 5,000ft but the pilots contacted ATC due to a technical reason with the landing gear.
Pilots then climbed to 9,000ft to dump the fuel in order to reduce the weight of the aircraft.
It landed safely back to MRU about one hour later.
