A LATAM Cargo 767-300F experienced a tailstrike while departing out of Sao Paulo Guarulhos Airport in Brazil.
The LATAM Cargo Boeing 767F, with registration N538LA, was performing flight UC-1108 from Sao Paulo Guarulhos to Santiago International Airport on Friday, November 26th.
Upon rotation, the aircraft experienced a tail strike sending out smoke, which was noticed by witnesses and is also seen in the video below.
Shortly after the strike, the Guarulhos air traffic controller informed the crew about the occurrence of the tail strike. Another pilot on the ground also noticed the possible occurrence of the tail strike. However, the aircraft continued to Santiago without any further incident.
The Guarulhos airport ground service vehicle was seen entering the runway to inspect it shortly after the tower informed about the potential strike.
