Delta Airbus A350 from Rome to Atlanta is currently diverting to Ireland.

The flight DL215 departed Rome FCO Airport, Italy at 09:45 CEST to Atlanta, US where it was scheduled to land at 2:25 pm then go to gate F08.

About 3 hours into the flight, while starting to cross Atlantic Ocean, the crew contacted ATC and was vectored to DUB Airport due to a medical emergency on board.

UPDATE 12:15 GMT
The Airbus A350-900 (registration N568DZ) is expected to land at 1:35 pm local time.

UPDATE 12:24 GMT
The airline is expecting a new departure at 1:30pm from Dublin.

UPDATE 13:31 GMT
Go around after landing attempt on runway 28L due to tailwind.

UPDATE 12:42 GMT
New final approach to runway 10L.

UPDATE 12:48 GMT
The A350 has safely landed on runway 10L.

UPDATE 12:56 GMT
The airline is now expecting a new departure at 2:00pm from Dublin.
