A plane carrying Ecuadorian military personnel crashed in the country’s eastern Pastaza province Tuesday, according to a statement from Ecuador’s army.
Twenty-two people were on board the plane at the time of the crash. Ecuador’s President said in a tweet that all 22 died.
“There are no survivors,” President Rafael Correa posted. “It’s a tragedy.”
