An aircraft of the Mexican Air Force collapsed this Sunday in Xalapa, Veracruz.
A Learjet 45XR, (reg. FAM3912) has crashed in the vicinity of El Lencero airport, located in the town of Emiliano Zapata.
First reports indicate that the Mexican Air Force aircraft was conducting flight practices and was destined for the city of Villahermosa, Tabasco.
Elements of the Mexican Army and firefighters were mobilized to the Xalapa International Airport to attend to the accident.
After collapsing, the aircraft caught fire, trapping its crew.
