Two men were met by police when easyJet flight #U26980 touched down in Edinburgh Airport after travelling from Copenhagen, Denmark, yesterday afternoon
Two men were arrested when an easyJet flight from Copenhagen to Edinburgh touched down today amid claims of a “violent confrontation”.
Fellow travellers said areas of the cabin were ‘covered in blood’ and that cabin crew had been “reduced to tears” as a result of the incident.
One woman told the Daily Record: “It was very frightening for this to unfold in mid air.
“It was a violent confrontation and an area of the cabin was covered in blood. The cabin crew did a great job to try to contain it.
A spokesman for then airline said: “We can confirm that flight EZY6980 from Copenhagen to Edinburgh was met by police on arrival as a result of two passengers onboard behaving disruptively. The passengers were removed by police and arrested.
